Who we are
Kerbside is operated by kerbside.co. We provide free property intelligence for English towns.
What data we collect
We collect limited data to provide and maintain the site:
- Town searches — search terms are processed so we can return matching town pages.
- Usage analytics — if you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes information such as page views, events, referrers, device information and approximate location.
- Technical logs — hosting and security logs may include IP addresses, request details and browser information needed to operate and protect the service.
Analytics and your choice
Google Analytics stays off unless you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining analytics does not affect your access to Kerbside.
We store your choice in your browser for up to six months so we do not ask on every visit. You can change it at any time using “Analytics settings” in the footer.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Third-party processors
- Cloudflare — website delivery, security and technical logs.
- Supabase — database hosting for application data.
- Railway — retained application services and operational logs.
- Google Analytics — usage analytics, only after you allow analytics.
Data sources
Property information displayed on Kerbside comes from publicly available government datasets, including the Environment Agency, British Geological Survey, UKHSA, MHCLG, Police.uk, Ofsted, Ofcom and HM Land Registry. The town-level information we publish does not contain personal data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete eligible data
- Object to or restrict some processing
- Ask for eligible data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To make a request, email hello@kerbside.co.
Data retention
We retain analytics and technical logs only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Historic records from the retired paid-report service may be retained where needed for accounting, legal obligations, refunds or customer support.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The revision date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
